AMANDA HOLLEY
Member
Amanda Holley has one true love and that is music, relying from childhood on the spirit of music to lead her out of struggle into her own inner strength in order to become a consummate musician (violin & piano from age 2) and vocalist and develop her passion. Music is in Amanda's blood. It has been said that she sang even before she could speak. Her voice could sometimes be heard from the rooftops of Newark, NJ where she would dwell for some months of her infancy with her musical mother (trained concert cellist out of Manhattan School of Music, Cheryl Tedesco) and her guitar strumming “estranged” songwriting Dad, Gregory Holley, (who composed for Sarah Vaughn and others).
From the age of two, Amanda Holley practically lived in the orchestra pit while her mother would play some of the greatest musicals and symphonies ever written and she immediately caught the songwriting bug explaining in a 3 year old’s terms, “I hear angel voices in my head”. At age 8, Amanda saw her father for the first time since infancy and discovered that he was a songwriter and was very much alive and that his sister, her Aunt, Pat Holley was too a songwriter for Stephanie Mills and herself a Juilliard trained composer, vocalist, and arranger. This made everything make sense to her. AMANDA has been surrounded by the gift of music, is a published poet (Columbia Press at age 16), and the young singer is currently working with esteemed major label executives on her upcoming release (TBA).
Inspired by other female artists, such as, Whitney, Mariah, Aretha, Ella, and Billie she was determined to join these healing and inspiring vocalists. She always survived tough times by listening to and creating great music. When she was 8 years old performing at local events in her native New Jersey, she astonished audiences with her soul, maturity and her connection to the sophisticated lyrics much too advanced for her tender age. Amanda has even performed with the world renowned, Les Paul, at the jazz hot spot, Iridium as a teenager. Her former manager, the late great Phil Ramone encouraged her to carry her soulful voice and writing style into today's pop generation.

As a Swedish- South African I have realized that it is up to me and young women like me, to take our place to get our stories out there. My contribution is the movie “We are like Oranges” - which depicts a young Afro-Swedish man subjected to hate crime in a saga-influenced story about Sweden´s racist past. I wanted to explore how racism impacts on human relationships and explain gender from other perspectives as also women can be perpetrators in hate crime. The film was awarded the Best Foreign Film Award at the LA Femme Film festival, 2014. As this film was the first to depict a young Afro-Swedish man as the hero I realized we have a lot of work in front of us. We need to understand that this under-representation impacts on feelings of empathy.
To change this I have developed a model to ensure equal representation in diverse societies. It is called the 25% rule (corresponding to the percentage of ethnic minorities in Sweden) and is called the cultural representation model globally. It aims to increase inclusion on three crucial areas in the cultural sector: regarding access to/consumption of culture; participation as cultural actors and as members of the board. The result so far is that the largest non-formal education organization for cultural agents in Sweden (Kulturens) with 300 000 members have now adopted the 25% rule as a strategy and vision. More equitable representation would not only promote a better understanding between cultures and create new avenues for cultural innovation that are respectful towards ethnic minorities, it also holds the potential to make the world a better a place.

Julie Dennis gained a BSc Hon's degree in Psychology from York University, where she also began to develop her career as a performer. After her first year as an undergraduate, Julie played the lead in a production that won the coveted National Student Drama Festival Award, while later, her first play, The Bombdies, won the Verity Bargate New Play write Award at the Soho Poly Theatre. Julie was also instrumental in bringing Street Theatre and performance skills, to the communities of Yorkshire, through painstaking outreach work over the five years that she spent in the area.
In addition to taking part in writing comic drama for theatre and television through the new writers development team at the BBC, Julie’s commitment to the art of performance and communication saw her teaching voice, crooning standards in the jazz clubs, screaming at the indie circuit with her own material and arranging and fronting a twelve piece soul band. All of this, along with the addition of a successful close harmony vocal trio, Mothers Ruin. Inevitably drawn to London, Julie was immediately recognized as an important new talent in Jazz, working with such prominent artists as Courtney Pine, Stan Tracey, Bobby Wellins, Jean Toussant and many more. She went on to tour Great Britain and Europe with the Charlie Watts Big Band. This conglomeration of the most significant jazz names in Europe profoundly defined and influenced Julie’s work as a composer and performer, and prompted her to temporarily return to an academic life to study music and performance. It was at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama that Julie gained an Advanced P G Diploma and from there a Masters in Modern Composition and Arrangement, with a specialization in voice. From here Julie’s unique teaching method began to evolve as she realized the profound gap in understanding and training for the modern performer.
Julie’s methods were further honed in her 2 years as the Voice and Performance Tutor at the Lewisham (London) Academy of Music, her work for the Musicians Union (running workshops for young Musician/Songwriters) ‘Rock Weeks’ and with her contribution to the ‘Music Works’ educational training courses. A Diploma in Teaching Yoga at the British Wheel further enhanced Julie’s holistic approach to the work along with her skills in massage techniques, healing therapies and her completion of ‘The Mastery’. (Actors Institute System from L.A/ Actors Centre Islington London).
Julie has appeared on recordings for record labels that range from Rough Trade to B.M.G. and appeared in front of twenty thousand people at festivals across Europe, from Belgium to Holland to Germany and Greece. Her radio work is as varied as John Peel to Radio 2 and Jazz FM. She has done residencies at Ronnie Scott’s, wrote and performed with Mikis Theodorakis 1. The Album Oracle (The Hostage, Brenda Behan), the Translation and rework of the choral piece Mauthausen, and has written and produced for George Michael’s Aegean Label. Julie has spent time living between Oxfordshire and New York in the past but is now living temporarily in North Devon in the south of England to concentrate on her writing. Julie is also and is currently completing her second album project, on her own record label, Petulant Records. Her first album Silvatung on Blue Sand was a mix between electronic influences, jazz and soul while this one is again her own material but unashamedly jazz live and unplugged.
Julie has a rich and mixed creative history. She was the featured vocalist on the huge club hit CHAIN OF FOOLS with the BFL Project. We have seen her writing and performing with A Guy Called Gerald (Voodoo Ray) for his long awaited album “To All Things What They Need”, writing and recording for the Sensei Records Label, writing and recording with D.J. Asle along with recording a series of singles for Circulation.
Julie has a recording deal with the Washington Label Yoshitoshi Records (Deep Dish) and her first single “Sugar” with Dyad 10, that Julie wrote and produced, had a massive impact in the clubs of the USA and of Europe while Pete Tong who championed the record from the beginning by playing the Nika & Asle mix, continued to support it by numerous plays of the Tocadisco mix on his Friday Radio 1 Show. No less than seventeen mix albums include Julie’s Sugar track, including GU029 Sharam in Dubai, DJ Sultan Yoshitoshi Montreal and Ministry of Sound Sessions: Sebastian Ingrosso to name but a few affirming it as a favorite not just for clubbers but also amongst DJ’s producers and tastemakers.
Julie has had tracks released with Matt Darey and Al B Rich, while she continues to collaborate toward more new work with fellow artists like Bass Nectar, Dawn Patrol, DJ Asle, Alex Santer, Steen Thottrup and Nicka (Miro). As early as 2008 Julie worked on tracks with Judge Jules and had success with the release of her Debut single on her own label Cut To The Chase, (Petulant Records) with mixes from A Guy Called Gerald, Circulation, Kevin Freeman, and Julie’s remix competition winner Sean ‘Grandbrother’ Mullen and runner up Fauxstar (Ryan Briggs). This was quickly followed by a joint release with DJ Sultan on his own label Harem with Julie’s take on ‘Fever’ She has released the first of her Silvatung (on blue sand) on her own site and is preparing a her much-anticipated, second solo album, Thieves of Promise. This will be a partly retrospective rework of material, seen in the context of her life now. A book of the very personal poetry along with some that became the song lyrics will accompany the double album.

Warren brings twenty-five years of experience incorporating corporate brands into major feature films, and as a producer-the creation of original content for motion pictures and television supported through integrated brand marketing. Formerly, he was Director of Entertainment Marketing for Young and Rubicam. Currently, he is Executive Producer of the highly successful CBS TV series, The Inspectors recipient of six Emmy nominations in March of 2016.
Warren has said, "My initial goal was to place Consumer Brands into major Studio Films. Many companies were doing that when I started in the late 80's. No one was doing 'Entertainment Marketing'. After the brand was in the film, a major retail tie in promotion was put into motion. The goal was to gain awareness for the film and help sell more of the brands products. If the promotion worked, you saw the movie and if you saw the movie you saw the "product placement." Everyone Wins!
The companies Warren attracted to the films all created in-store displays and promotions for their various products. Add to the display or promotion the Movie Art work, and the movie consumer gained better awareness of the coming title.
In his motion picture marketing class at New York City's Columbia University he says to his class, "This is not an academic marketing puzzle. It is common sense. Taking the same approach to television, one does the same as with motion pictures. The brand is featured in a TV program and is promoted in the market place. The consumer is much smarter than we give them credit. Today, add Trans-Media to the mix. It works even better."
Sales of the product is still the main objective. Be it soap, cars, soda or movies. If it doesn't sell, you wasted your money. Warren's degree in Marketing certainly is his foundation. But, common sense applied to a depth of experience works even better.
There is a unique aspect that falls under the category of Integrated Brand Marketing, wherein the potential advertiser takes on a role sponsoring the marketing of the film or TV product. Unlike product placement, true Integrated Brand Marketing looks at the direct benefit that an association to a particular program will have on the sales of its product featured in the film. In rare cases, with no product in the film, companies have identified the value of the association and invested heavily in marketing the movie. Warren Weideman is a highly experienced Integrated Brand Marketing executive, in addition to being a successful producer in both film and TV. He is the man behind the branded promotion for the 20th Century Fox surprise box office hit, Porky's, that grossed $144 million (on a film produced for $6M) and spawned two sequels. Warren's inventive marketing concept is attributed as one of the reasons for the success of what became a franchise.
Following Porky's, Warren's very successful Beverly Hills based Integrated Brand Marketing company, Krown Inc., was purchased by advertising giant Y &R. Warren took on the role for Y &R in New York City to develop their entertainment marketing division. This he did with great success. Examples of Warren’s Integrated Brand Marketing successes in motion pictures include: James Bond – A View To A Kill, Superman IV, and Batman. And successes in television branded entertainment include: The Inspectors (highest rated Showtime movie in history) and 18 Wheels of Justice.
Having a well-earned Madison Avenue reputation for his concepts, Warren has strong relationships with media time and space companies. Simply put, buying advertising time and space retail is akin to wasting money. Warren has much history in bartering and brokering time, space, and programming, such that the value of the dollars targeted for marketing are leveraged to such an extent as to have a value as great as 10 times that of a typical media buy. Plus, money of this nature, invested by sponsors, is an expense item for them: money that is not repaid.
The net effect of Warren's involvement with a motion picture or television series, a marketing budget that rivals the major distributors capacity for spending, yet has an actual cash cost that is significantly less.

My journey in the martial arts begin around the age of 15 years old. Originally my interested was stemmed in the martial arts because of where and the time I grew up in the inner-city areas of New York City. Which forged my interest and ultimately lead to the need for personal protection for myself coupled with the fact that I was an only child and the great majority of my family resided in Guyana. However, later my passion for the martial arts blossomed into something more profound for me. It afforded me a way to have a real and lasting positive impact on others. She continues to dazzle the masses, evolve her profession and influence her art by combining Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance with all-original and interpretive choreography in her theater performances.
Hailing from Yamanashi, Japan, a small mountain town located in the far outskirts of Tokyo, Shoko has been a classically trained ballerina since the age of two and has since toured with The Central School of Ballet (London, UK), The American Academy of Ballet (New York, USA), The Paris Opera (France) and The Madrid Ballet School (Spain). Her undying dedication to her art has led her to grace the globe, lighting up the stages of famed venues that include London’s Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, and The Theatre Royal in Glasgow.
Shoko Tamai has competed from Hong Kong to New York and has the honor of being a Finalist in The World Ballet Competition and a Gold Medalist in the New York Ballet Competition (American Academy of Ballet). Her explosive resume and qualifications aside, Shoko is a true pioneer in her own right as she distinguishes herself on-stage with her exquisite history and story-telling through expressive dance. Each one of her performances promises to deliver a unique, stimulating visual and musical experience that should not be missed!

Rande is a certified Master Reiki Practitioner, though he started his career at the early age of ten selling rockets behind the counter of his father’s hobby store. Going into school for Business and Communications, he finished three years of college, before deciding to take up a full-time professional career in entertainment, becoming a model and on-camera commercial talent. Rande also worked in youth programs and as entertainment director, going on to produce his own children show.
Over the years, Rande has become known for his beautiful smile and alluring voice. Once while shooting a television commercial, he was told by the producer: “Your smile will light up the world!” He went on to act in numerous Films and TV projects, including movies like Die Hard 2. Rande decided to put entertainment on the backburner and pursue business, quickly getting hired by a Fortune 500 company, and becoming international recruiter and motivational speaker. He has taken companies from nothing to great profitability, with an uncanny ability to develop great solutions to challenges, and the strength and knowledge to close out business deals. His global network consists of an extensive contact base in many industries, such as finance, commodities and entertainment.
In an episode of his life, Rande went off to Alaska to work for a salmon cannery. This gave him sublime time to ponder life’s universal questions, and contemplating his deepest yearning to know the reasons for our existence. Rande is the Man He is Today because of these trials and tribulations he has lived through in his amazing life-experience. The accumulation of human sufferings inevitably forced him to his knees, into his own inner prayer cycle, and awakened him to his own Inner Truth. Through his awakening he came to realize the reason for his beaming smile that he was told about years ago. What made it all possible is the Energy coming through his Heart and the Sound coming through his Voicehelping him to heal and awaken us: it is from this Sound and Energy that bring us to Love. Love is the answer to everything, and Rande says understanding Love, Energy, and Sound is a science which brings us Inner Peace. It is truly about letting go and being simple (living simply) which will bring peace. He is now teaching others to do the same through his teachings Rande’s Voice(www.randesvoice.com). Rande now lives within the balance of peace and has healed his life emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially – and he has developed an in-depth wisdom on how love can transform our lives. The Awakening is the Healing, and the Healing is the Awakening is from Rande Scott Worcester’s book: Pull the Pins Out.
